Pioneers Looking For Host Families

Host tomorrow’s stars today!

The Western Mass Pioneers are offering any interested household the opportunity to be a Host Family for a Pioneer this summer.

Coach Calabrese and his staff are recruiting some very talented players for the 2011 season, giving a Host Family the chance to live with and get to know a promising young soccer player on the rise, possibly to the MLS, all the while creating a positive role model atmosphere for younger children.

The Pioneers start the season in March and the playoffs start at the end of July.

The Pioneers participate in the PDL and in the Super-20 League.  The PDL is the top U23 men's league in North America, showcasing the future of soccer. The PDL provides elite collegiate players the chance to compete at a high level of competition.  The best players in the PDL enter the MLS Draft, realizing their dreams of competing at soccer’s highest level. In 2010, 48 PDL players were drafted by MLS clubs.
