Western Mass Pioneers Find New Head Coach


Fan Favorite Federico Molinari to take the helm

 

Federico Molinari, native of Argentina, landed in Ludlow in 2003 and has been an integral part in the success of the WM Pioneers, Jr Pioneers and various Lusitano Club teams.

 

“Federico has been a part of this community for a long time now and his dedication to the development of programs he is a part of goes without question,” stated Lusitano Club President Celso Correia.

 

Federico’s playing and coaching experience started as soon as he arrived to the Ludlow area. Here is a brief summary of his accomplishments:

 

Professional Playing Experience

1999-2000       Gimnasia E. LaPlata (Argentina 1st Division)

2000-2001       Gimnasia de Conception Del Uruguay (Argentina 2nd Division)

2002                Deportes Quindo (Columbia 1st Division)

2003                Western Mass Pioneers

2004-2005       A.S. Deliese (Italy)

2006-2010       Western Mass Pioneers

 

Coach Molinari’s coaching experience is mostly comprised of youth Maple League teams that encompassed the FC Napoli U13 Boys, Gold Star Academy U 13 Boys, WM Junior Pioneers U11, U13 and U15 Boys. Federico also assisted with the 2006-2009 East Longmeadow Boys Varsity Soccer and currently is an assistant with the American International College Men’s Varsity Soccer team. To his accreditation, Coach Molinari has attained his USSF National “A” and “B” coaching license along with an Advanced Regional Diploma from the NSCAA.

 

“I am happy to be the new Head Coach of the Western Mass Pioneers. My goal is to win but also to work with the Western Mass communities at the youth level to develop local talent and bring them to the Pioneers in the future,” quoted Coach Molinari.
